Knife making started as a hobby in 1988. Master knifesmith’s professional qualification from 2009.

Competition success:

1^st place in the first decorative knife series of the Fiskars knife competition in 1994 

1^st place in the decorative knife series of the Fiskars knife competition in 1996 

1^st place in the knife series of the Great Knife Competition organized by Metsästys- ja Kalastus (Hunting & Fishing) magazine 1997

1^st place in the knife series of the Great Knife Competition 2002 organized by Metsästys- ja Kalastus magazine (Hunting & Fishing) and second prize in the hunting knife series of the same competition 

1^st place in the decorative knife series of the Kauhava Knife Festival in 2001 and 2002

Metal craftsman’s degree 2004. Started making knives in 1998. Master knifesmith’s professional degree 2018.

• 1^st place in the Fiskars knife competition in the youth category in 1999
• 1^st place in Fiskars Finland Championship knife competition in decorative knife series 2003
• 1^st place in Fiskars Finland Championship knife competition champions/decorative knife series 2004
• 1^st place in Gysingen Öppen klass and Team Work together with Esko Mikkonen and Arto Liuko in 2004
• Victories in the Fiskars Championship knife competition in the champions/open series, champions/traditional knife series and in the international open series in 2006
• 1^st place in the hunting knife series of the Great Knife Competition of the Year organized by Metsästys- ja Kalastus (Hunting & Fishing) magazine in 2011
• 1^st place in the traditional and provincial knife series of the Fiskars Finland Championship knife competition 2013
• 1^st place in the 2018 hunting knife competition organized by the Finnish Hunting Association, the Finnish Hunting Museum and the Finnish Puukko Association
• 1^st place in the Finnish Knife Making Championship, open series for winners 2020
